Mariangela Beccoi explores the intersection of design,
art and politics. Focusing on the everyday, her practice looks at how and why artefacts become imbued with power. Using video, installation, performance, she creates narratives around geopolitical issues to deconstruct protocols of control of bodies and objects. What she does is interrogative rather than descriptive; research is an essential part of this.
